Poster or framed?

Posters are the lightest and most affordable option and are easy to frame yourself. Framed prints arrive ready to hang in black, white, or red oak.

What size should I get?

For a desk or gallery wall, 8×10 or 12×16 works well. For a piece that anchors a room, go with 18×24 or 24×36.

Can I order more than one?

A personalized map print starts with one location. Search a city, a neighbourhood, a single street corner or a stretch of coastline, and the map centres exactly where you want it. Zoom in until the side streets show, or pull back until the whole coastline reads as a shape.

From there it is yours. Pick one of twelve colour styles, from quiet paper tones to deep ink and bright pop palettes. Drop a marker on the exact spot. Add a title, the date, and the coordinates underneath. The preview updates as you go, so what you approve is what gets printed.

Common questions about custom map prints

Can you map any location in the world?

Yes. If a place has coordinates it can be mapped, from a capital city down to a village lane. Street-level detail is available worldwide, so you can centre the map on a specific address rather than just a town.

How much text can I add to a map print?

A title, a country or region line, a line of custom text, and the coordinates of the marked spot. Each one can be turned off, so a map with no text at all is a valid design.

What size should I order?

For a desk, shelf or gallery wall, 8x10 or 12x16 works well. To anchor a room on its own, 18x24 or 24x36. Larger sizes also show more road detail, since the map is rendered for the size you choose rather than scaled up afterwards.

Do I have to frame it myself?

No. Every size is available unframed as a poster, or framed in black, white or red oak and ready to hang.

Can I save a design and finish it later?

Yes. There is a save option in the editor that emails you a link back to your design, so you can come back to it on another device or send it to someone else for a second opinion.
